Personal Engagements for Social Impact
Peer-nominated network of women working to strengthen gender perspectives within diverse diaspora communities in Germany and across countries of origin. Through collaborative research, dialogue, and network-building, I contribute to making gender-specific challenges and potentials more visible and to fostering stronger connections among diaspora-led initiatives. This engagement reflects my commitment to inclusive, women-led approaches in development, policy, and transnational cooperation.
Volunteering with Giving Africa a New Face e.V. (GAaNF), I have been actively involved in community building, narrative change, and labor mobility initiatives. I supported the organization and coordination of the annual African Ambassadors Summit, a high level event that brings together policymakers, diplomats, civil society, and diaspora actors to discuss labor mobility, migration, and Africa Europe relations. In this role, I contributed to event planning, participant coordination, and creating inclusive and welcoming spaces for dialogue.
I managed content for the “Migrants Change the Narrative” website, supporting storytelling and communication efforts that challenge stereotypes and highlight the contributions, agency, and lived experiences of migrants. I also served as a mentor in the 360 Labour Mobility Project, supporting participants through guidance, reflection, and skills development, particularly around navigating professional pathways, cross cultural contexts, and personal growth.

I founded ScholarPark to address one of the most persistent barriers facing young people in Sub Saharan Africa: access to quality secondary education. Having seen firsthand how financial constraints force capable and motivated students out of school, I created ScholarPark to provide direct tuition sponsorships for students from vulnerable backgrounds, including orphans, students from single parent households, and families with limited income.
Alongside financial support, a core part of Scholarpark provides a structured mentorship and coaching programme that supports students academically, personally, and professionally. Through one on one mentoring, goal setting, and continuous guidance, students are supported to build self confidence, discipline, and long term vision for their futures.
Scholarpark reflects my belief that education is not only a right, but a powerful lever for social mobility, dignity, and long term development.
